MULIPLICITY- Call for Submissions

For our October screening we are inviting experimental documentary submissions on the theme of  MULTIPLICITY

Most often used to mean a large number of things ‘multiplicity’ can refer to a variety of things- or the variety in things. We are looking for experimental documentary films that embrace multiplicity and ideas around profusion, assortment and repetition.

Short Circuit show a unique and eclectic mix of short films that have their roots in documentary. Now well established our themed screenings in Brighton invite emerging, established and award winning artists and filmmakers to share their unconventional approaches to documentary storytelling.

Festival/series profile

  • Short Circuit

    SHORT CIRCUIT is a new film night screening short experimental documentaries selected from an open call. Short Circuit shows films with an unconventional approach, works that are distinctly artist film, yet have their roots in fact or documentary.

    The screenings will be on the last Thursday of the month at Presuming Ed, Brighton.
