Permanente.ciclo is an experimental arts festival that takes place periodically in unconventional exhibition spaces in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The festival promotes the work of artists from the local and international scene who explore new languages and alternative approaches to traditional artistic disciplines.

With its focus on music, sound art, poetry, audiovisual arts and performance, Permanente seeks to build bridges between multidisciplinary artists and new audiences. 

Submission categories: Visual explorations - works that focus on exploring different visual aspects of the moving image. including: video-loops, visuals, interventions of film or analogue materials, films without sound, abstract animation, among other experimentations.

Experimental and sensory film and video - works that use unconventional methods to explore alternative narratives. including but not exclusive: creative documentary, video poetry, hybrids with other artistic manifestations, collage, manifestos, video essays

Screendance + video performance - works that focus on the moving body

Special focus on sound art + experimental music - sound or audiovisual works that have a special emphasis on sound construction or that relate to experimental music.
