Great work! I liked it very much :-) The contrast between the high-speed animation and the poem's rythm works very well.
I'm curious: how does the YT version compare to the original? Didn't it suffer much from the compression?
BTW, I'd like to post this on the site's Videos section if you allow me...
With Youtube it makes it another version ;). With the original you see more detail in the layers of video of the streets and pavements. Which the compression can't handle. But that is a trade off with using the site. I used Super to compress the DV video using a divx codec which made it about a quater of the of the maximum 100 meg file limit.
Thanks for the comments i'll pass them onto Rupert as well. There is alot of rythmns going on in there both sonically and visually playing off each other.
This is playing at the Athens Video Art festival this month.
