We are a community of emerging artist-curators organising an exhibition of artist video works, and are interested in applications from artists who work in video to submit work for consideration that relates to the subject of Private/Public.

It seems that with technological advancements and political and cultural changes, boundaries between public and private are progressively less distinct. Our understanding of privacy and publicity has been influenced by technological advancements and global changes. As we are born into society, this relationship becomes complicated, privacy is both compromised and preserved. The exhibition aims to explore and reflect on the dynamics of personal and public narratives, the way they both engage with societal conditions, and the impact on our identities, agencies, and communities.  

We especially encourage works that present an experimental approach to the medium; there are no time or form limitations.  

The physical exhibition is going to be held in the U Contemporary Gallery, Winzavod, Moscow, Russia, from April 23rd to May 10th, 2024.
