    The Riga Pasaules Film Festival (RPFF) will celebrate its 7th edition with a new cycle of film screenings, workshops, a retrospective, and discussions. The film festival will take place from the 26th - 29th April 2020 at Kino Bize, located in the heart of Riga’s Art Nouveau district. Although the RPFF is a documentary film festival we have in past years included in the program one or two experimental documentaries, and so we welcome entries from non-mainstream filmmakers.

    Now in its fourth year, the Performing Media Festival [PMF~ 2020] will be held February 20-21st in South Bend, Indiana on the campus of IU South Bend. We are seeking performative audio-visual works to present at this year's festival. If you are interested in submitting a work for consideration, please fill out the form below.     Applications are now open for FLAMIN Productions, Film London Artists’ Moving Image Network's (FLAMIN) major commissioning scheme for mid-career London-based artist filmmakers. In 2019, up to three ambitious artists’ moving image projects will be awarded £30,000 in production funding, alongside a programme of tailored mentoring and support.

    The Iowa City International Documentary Film Festival (ICDOCS) is an annual event run by students at the University of Iowa. Our mission is to engage local audiences with the exhibition of recent short films that explore the boundaries of nonfiction filmmaking. We seek innovative new works of 30 minutes or less that both complicate and expand upon conventional approaches to nonfiction and documentary.
