Established in 1987, Images Festival is the longest running and most influential moving image festival in Canada. Images presents work that counters dominant mainstream narratives and provides alternative ways of thinking and seeing that expands the understanding of media art through our programming and education-based initiatives.

For twenty years Center for Visual Music (CVM), a nonprofit film archive, has been dedicated to visual music, experimental animation and abstract media. CVM has preserved a significant body of at-risk Visual Music films by Oskar Fischinger, Jordan Belson, Mary Ellen Bute, Charles Dockum, Jules Engel, James Whitney and others.
Laterale Film Festival is an international non competitive Festival of cinematic art organized by Associazione Culturale Laterale.
The aim of the project is to enhance the most innovative aspects of audio-visual languages of the contemporary scene and to reduce the distance between artistic research and public involvement. Tramway Film Festival shall be held on October 3–6, 2024, at Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej Zamek Ujazdowski (Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art) in Warsaw, Poland.
The idea to organize Tramway Film Festival was born out of a personal need to fill the void of showcasing arthouse cinema, especially experimental, essay and hybrid film, which have so far been neglected in Poland.
25 FPS Festival is calling for entries for its 20th edition with the standard deadline on 31st of May 2024. 25 FPS Festival screens independent and non-commercial films which innovatively explore the possibilities of cinematic language, narration and the medium itself, cross film types and genres and broaden the notion of film as art. It promotes expressive original concepts, progresses in terms of theme, idea and aesthetics, as well as works that perpetuate the tradition of avant-garde and experimental film.
