Bienal de la Imagen en Movimiento

The Bienal de la Imagen en Movimiento (BIM), is a space entirely dedicated to the field of audiovisual experimentation.  An appropriate environment for the exhibition of works, a space to think about the specific aesthetic matters of art on video and film.

Its main goal is to promote the development and circulation of audiovisual arts. To that end, a singular program of video and film works it’s presented, along a space for discussion enriched by distinguished artists and researchers that propose, both to specialists and the general public, a framework of exchange that improves the experience of the encounter with the work of art.

The BIM emerges as an initiative of the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (UNTREF), this fact defines its identity founded on solid thinking and critical attitude. The deliberation framework that constitute the encounters with international artists, conferences, round-table meetings and workshops, it’s what makes the BIM so much more than just a well-nourished program of video and film works.
